A Little About Us
The Fruit Yard has been serving Stanislaus County since 1977. We feature a restaurant, fruit market, deli, barbecue, bakery, banquet center and amphitheater. Our award-winning facility is on 90 acres of fruit orchards. You will find a beautiful lake setting for many memorable occasions: weddings, anniversaries, charity events, meetings, and large picnics.
We offer fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, specializing in our own crops of cherries, apricots, peaches, plums, and nectarines. Try our Traina Fruit Sauces and our very own dried fruit products. We make and ship baskets and have a wide variety of products, including candies, nuts, wines, and, of course, fruits of all types!

Went for breakfast and it was nice. Then we had an event there and the staff was amazing how they helped and offered everything they did. It turned out to be a wonderful event.
Great dinner with family. It’s a nice casual spot to grab all sorts of eats. Great variety from steaks and ribs, to chicken and salmon and a great salad bar. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Went to the amphitheater, venue was clean, well maintained and a great atmosphere. We ate at vendors there for the concert, price was decent for the food. Prefer to eat their BBQ over the food truck vendors we tried. Definitely will be back for other concerts.
Our server was the best. The food was so-so. Had the unlimited beef ribs, nothing amazing about them other than the price. I guess you get what you pay for. The buffet was nice but being in that tiny banquet hall felt super stuffy. Bit of a drive as well, but it’s fun.
We were seated immediately with no reservation. One of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. There was a lot to choose when it came to food. The food was awesome and in abundance. Our server was awesome. Highly recommend this establishment!
Always GREAT FOOD. No matter what you pick, you cannot go wrong. They have a large variety for the entire family to find something delicious and tasty. They have vegetarian options as well, along with one of the best salad bars! This restaurant has been a locals favorite since the beginning. When you walk in you feel like family.
Went to the Fruityard for my daughters birthday. Reservations are definitely needed for Friday and Saturday night. Their salad bar is loaded with lots of good items. The clam chowder is really good and served hot. Many restaurants serve soup warm, and we send them back to be heated up. Not last night. The senior menu is well done with great pricing and food selections. I had the NY Steak, and my wife had the Chicken Fried Steak. My daughter and son-in-law had the 16 oz Prime Rib. Our meals were prepared to everyone’s liking.
We had dinner last night and it was the best experience! Our waiter Gabriel (hope that’s right) was the best ..funny, professional and never missed a step..and he was busy! As for the food, it was wonderful. I would recommend the red snapper and the broiled chicken. Gabriel’s suggestions were spot on. We will see you soon!
